Pay Rate : $30 - $38 (pending licenses and experience) 

About Us:

We are a leading heavy vehicle Tyre company located in Rocklea, dedicated to providing top-notch service and solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Yard Hand / Scrap Metal Processor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and excavators for moving and processing scrap metal.
  • Utilize OXY equipment for metal cutting and welding tasks.
  • Manage yard inventory and ensure proper handling of materials.
  • Perform general yard maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.

Required:

  • Forklift ticket 
  • Valid car license.
  • Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
  • OXY experience (cutting and welding).
  •  excavator operations is highly desirable
