Sewing Machinist Required ! 

Our client is well known manufacturer of fabrics & curtains based within Mansfield location - Brisbane.

We are searching for reliable workers looking to obtain a long term position within the industry.

Are you an experienced machinist ? Have you worked with fabrics previously! This could be the opportunity for you. 

Location: Mansfield - near Upper Mount Gravatt - Brisbane 

 

About the role

  • Upholstering fabric and curtains
  • On-going role Monday to Friday
  • Working in a commercial environment (not industrial)
  • Must have OWN TRANSPORT and current DRIVER’S LICENSE
  • Demonstrated experience as a machinist
  • Demonstrated experience as a machine operator
  • Previous curtain making experience is preferred.

Day to day duties include.

  • Use of a commercial sewing machine
  • Handle a variety of soft furnishings fabrics
  • Ensure customer orders are neatly finished
  • Communicate and work with co-workers effectively

To be successful you need.

  • Previous commercial sewing experience
  • To multi-task and work to set deadlines
  • An excellent eye for detail with a focus on quality
  • Ability to work unsupervised and communicate clearly
