The CG Recruitment team currently have a vacancy for a Rehabilitation & Occupational Health & Safety Co-ordinator. The role will be based at our custom-built head office in Salisbury where you will work with our team of Recruitment Consultants and Management Team to ensure the rehabilitation of our candidates. Responsibilities of the role:

  • Completion of incident reports
  • Attending medical appointments with candidates
  • Communicating with candidates, medical professionals and other stakeholders (e.g. Work insurance) in relation to injury management
  • Reporting on injury management and safety on site
  • Implementation of policies and procedures that will help minimise claims costs and protect safety on site
  • Completion of onsite safety checks and reviews to ensure safety is kept to our company standards for all candidates
  • Dedication to ongoing support of candidate injuries and medical support to ensure their safe and healthy recovery 
  • Returning injured candidates back to work as quickly as possible while maintaining their safety
  • Supporting our Recruitment Team to provide staffing support to clients and understand the recruitment industry

What will you need for this role:

  • Ability to commit to Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm working week
  • Medical, injury management or Workplace Health & Safety Experience would be beneficial
  • Fantastic time management and organisation skills – accidents can happen at any time so being able to adapt to a changing schedule is important for this role
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Empathetic and supportive nature would suit this role well
  • Commitment to customer service 
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Qualifications in Workplace Rehab/Injury Management or equivalent would be beneficial
