Vacancies currently available undergoing preventative maintenance on a range of semi and fully automated food processing and packaging machinery.

There will be a range of scheduled maintenance, breakdown work, fault finding/troubleshooting, commissioning of new machines, and installs/repairs.

 You could also be working closely with other maintenance teams on site. 

Would need to be happy working around food and being within a cold environment. 

 

Afternoon shift - 1pm-9pm or 2pm-10pm

Night shift - 9pm-5am or 10pm-6am

Weekend Night shift - 6pm-6am (Friday to Sunday)

  

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience with in the food manufacturing industry is IDEAL
• Australian Trade Qualification as an Maintenance Fitter
  
• Proven experience on both breakdown and preventative maintenance
• Fault finding and problem solving skills and experience
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to TIG weld is a must
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems and components is an advantage.
• Commitment to quality and detail
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Able to undertake a functionality assessment 
• Available for immediate start
