Trade Qualified Maintenance Electricians -  Kalbar/Scenic Rim location

Previous experience with in the food manufacturing industry is a MUST                            
  
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Fitter Mechanic experienced in FMCG environments performing breakdown and preventative maintenance on a range of semi and fully automated food processing machines and packaging machinery etc.

This is a modern facility providing a variety of work for you. There will be a range of scheduled maintenance, breakdown work, fault finding/troubleshooting, commissioning of new machines, and installs/repairs.  You could also be working closely with other maintenance teams on site.


To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Current valid electrical fitter / mechanic licence
  • Experience in a similar role working with automated industrial processes and equipment using electric motors and VSDs (ABB, SEW, AB)
  • Experience in the troubleshooting of PLCs also including programming and modifications (Omron, Allen Bradley, Panasonic GE experience advantageous)
  • Conveyer systems assembly, installation and maintenance
  • Hydraulic, Pneumatic systems; installation, fault finding and repair
  • Excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment that experiences constant change
  • We are also open to considering candidates who have just completed or close to completing their apprenticeship.
