Your Role:

 As an Assistant Accountant, you will report directly to the Director of Finance and Marketing while collaborating closely with our part-time CFO. Your responsibilities will include:

• Accurate data entry, general ledger journals, and reconciliations
• Conducting bank reconciliations
• Managing customer payments, banking, receipting, and allocation of payments
• Overseeing debtor management and reporting
• Preparing and lodging BAS
• Generating financial reports (monthly & annually), cash flow management, budget projection, and account reconciliation up to Profit and Loss reporting, while liaising with the CFO and management team

What We’re Looking For:

 The ideal candidate will possess:

•  A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for investigating discrepancies
• Comprehensive accounting knowledge
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency in Xero software
• Confidence in using the MS Office Suite
