HSE COORDINATOR 

Seeking and experienced Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HSE Coordinator to join our team and help us drive a safety-first culture. Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver advice and support on the operational aspects across site.
  • Ensure site teams have the necessary information and professional advice to enable them to deliver HSE compliance and appropriate mitigation and control strategies within their functional areas of accountability.
  • Ensure KPI, monitoring, internal audit, and reporting processes are in place across the sites to provide local, business function, and regional visibility of HSE performance.
  • Identify and signal to the HR Business Partner where specialist HSE support is required.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Support internal and external communication networks and build working relationships to ensure that employees are involved and engaged with all aspects of HSE.
  • Provide resources (and deliver where appropriate) for HSE training for employees in relevant aspects of HSE.
  • Administer the site systems, action plans, and document management required to demonstrate and maintain compliance with the HSE Management System.
  • Promote and champion key initiatives to improve HSE performance across the site.
  • Work effectively with site staff to maximize HSE team deliverables and value.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety (or a related field)
  • At least 3 years of experience in HSE coordination (Preferably in the food manufacturing industry)
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE software
  • Availability to work flexible hours as required
  • Own car & current driver’s licence (No Learners)
  • Unlimited working rights for Australia
