Position summary – installation of new equipment, sales tasks for the items, repairs & servicing of equipment, preventative maintenance tasks also attending to the customers at their premises & site workshop.

Role Description.

- Based in Brisbane with travel throughout all Australian States (all travel, meals & accommodation will be paid for)

- Industrial environment

- Looking for a advanced field service technician to over look installation of new equipment as well take on additional duties of sales to service the customer’s equipment & assist in installation of new equipment in the field for customer’s premises.

- Fixed and mobile plant and will include site preventative maintenance tasks duties as required.

- Provide all relevant information to sales administration to ensure effective follow up with the customer and detail the verbal/written commitments made to the customer.

Additional Duties:

Document all work, pre-install, time and travelling time conduct diagnostics for repairs and provide information to the sales administration team to ensure jobs are completed and if follow up’s are required / further appointments need to be arranged.

Maintain accountability for spare parts assigned to position, by keeping records of your spare parts in/out.

Ideal to have worked on heavy industrial environment

Diesel mechanic with mechanical and electrical diagnostic experience 

Perform repairs brought from customer to workshop. Complete documentation related to each individual repair/service with equipment assessment

What you will need:
• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Mechanic
• Effective time management - 
• Relevant trading experience including skills gained on-the-job,

YOU MUST BE RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL

Be physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical.
