About the Role

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing duties relevant to your experience and position while maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety.

Duties may include:

• Meat processing and production work
• Operating machinery and equipment
• Knife work and trimming
• Hide pulling and legging duties
• General labouring and manual handling
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas
• Following site safety and quality procedures
• Working effectively as part of a team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous meat processing, food manufacturing or production experience
• Experience as a Hide Puller, Legger, Knife Hand, Labourer or similar role highly regarded
• Strong attention to safety and quality
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Essential Requirements

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Full unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Physically capable of undertaking repetitive manual tasks
• Ability to pass a Fit for Work Assessment
• Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Screening
• Current Q Fever vaccination or willingness to obtain one at the company's expense
