Site Operations Administrator – Maternity Leave Contract


Location: Pemulwuy, NSW
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract Duration: 12–18 months (potential for extension or permanency)

An excellent opportunity has become available with a well-established transport and logistics organisation based in Pemulwuy. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Operations Administrator to join the team on a 12–18 month maternity leave contract, with the potential for an ongoing position beyond this period.

This is a key support role within the site operations team, suited to someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and confident working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced logistics environment.

About the Role

To ensure a smooth handover, the successful candidate will ideally commence as soon as possible, with full training provided prior to the start of the leave period in January 2026. From January onwards, the role will require a high level of autonomy and initiative.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Payroll data entry and basic processing
  • Supplier invoice reconciliation
  • Procurement of consumables and office/site supplies
  • Order entry and system uploads
  • Operational reporting and data management
  • Booking ad-hoc transport for internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing export bookings and documentation
  • Scheduling container movements across multiple sites
  • Providing general administrative support to the site operations team

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
  • Reliable, punctual, and proactive in approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a 3PL or logistics environment is highly advantageous
