Process Monitoring Officer – Quality Control (Colmslie, QLD)

We are seeking a Process Monitoring Officer to support production by ensuring all processes meet required food safety, GMP, HACCP, CCP and QCP standards. This role plays an important part in maintaining compliance, accuracy and product quality across the site.

About the Role

You will be responsible for observing and verifying key quality and process controls, checking documentation, and supporting production teams to ensure procedures are followed. You will also identify and report any non‑conformances and help maintain food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support production teams to complete CCP duties correctly

  • Assist and guide staff in training

  • Verify compliance with processes and controlled documents

  • Check and confirm accuracy of documentation

  • Manage finished goods release

  • Monitor CCP and QCP processes and take corrective action when required

  • Report non‑conformances immediately

  • Identify out‑of‑spec products or processes and escalate

  • Review expired lot reports and follow corrective actions

  • Maintain food safety compliance across all areas

Work Health & Safety

  • Follow all WHS, food safety, PPE and COVID‑safe requirements

  • Report hazards immediately

  • Participate in safety programs and return‑to‑work plans

  • Operate equipment only when trained

  • Follow all site safety rules and procedures

About You

  • Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG (1 year preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and compliance focus

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills

  • Ability to work well with production teams

  • Full Working Requirements - Permanent Resident/Citizen or Specified Visas 

Qualifications

  • High School Certificate preferred

  • Completed GMP training

  • Previous food manufacturing experience desirable
