Process Engineer

About the role

• Join a high-impact Operational Excellence team in Cannon Hill, partnering directly with frontline teams and operational leaders to improve productivity, capacity, flow and performance.

• Lead practical process improvement through process mapping, time studies, capacity analysis, constraint identification and root-cause problem solving.

• Turn data into action by developing standard work, process controls, visual management and improvement initiatives.

• Work across operations, engineering, quality, safety, finance and people teams, preparing business cases and supporting trials and implementation from concept through to adoption.

About you

• Tertiary-qualified Process, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Chemical Engineer

• Process analysis, time-and-motion studies, process mapping, capacity, cycle-time and productivity analysis, with confident Excel and data skills.

• Translate operational data into practical improvements and engage effectively with frontline employees, supervisors and senior leaders.

• 2-5 years within Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing or another operational environment highly regarded.

Highly regarded

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM, OEE, Value Stream Mapping, standard work or line balancing.

• Experience in meat processing, food manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing, particularly in a complex operational environment.

• Power BI and/or Microsoft Visio capability, with experience turning operational data into clear visual insights.

• Experience facilitating improvement workshops, structured projects or cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes.

What’s on offer

• $160,000–$180,000 per annum + super, dependent on experience
