We are seeking a team of reliable and hardworking Labourers/Spotters and Forklift Drivers to assist with set up & pack up of a large mining event taking place in Mackay over the dates of 15th –  27th July.

This is a short term casual role involving manual labour (bending, lifting twisting). 

Labourers will need to know how to use a Pallet Jack when required. 

Task ranging from loading and unloading trucks by hand and forklifts, laying temporary flooring, building stands/stalls, to erecting signage and lighting, loading and unloading freight and spotting for forklifts.

Front of house staff will assist in satchel packing, visitor registration, queue management and cloak room attendants.

Forklift drivers will be loading and unloading a variety of ugly/awkward freight.

To be considered for these roles, you MUST have:-

• Own car and current drivers licence
• Forklift drivers must have minimum 2 years experience
• Working rights for Australia 
• Must have Construction Industry White Card
• High-vis Shirt and Steel Capped boots
• Have 2 x work related references that will be verified
• All relevant tickets / licenses
• Must be reliable and available on the above dates
