Are you an experienced cleaner looking to be part of a dynamic team at one of the Gold Coast's premier event venues?

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Event Cleaners to work at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC), supporting a diverse range of exhibitions, conferences, concerts, sporting events, and live entertainment.

As an Event Cleaner, you will play a key role in maintaining high cleanliness standards across public areas, event spaces, amenities, and back-of-house locations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and patrons.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining public areas, event spaces, and amenities
• Restocking consumables and reporting maintenance issues
• Ensuring bathrooms and high-traffic areas remain clean and sanitised
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Supporting venue operations before, during, and after events

What We're Looking For

• Previous commercial, venue, hospitality, event, or public area cleaning experience highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
• Reliable, punctual, and professional presentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
