Forklift Driver – Container Unloading (48‑Tonne)

Location: Wacol, QLD Hours: Afternoon Shift | Approx. 2:00pm–10:00pm Pay Rate:$37.61 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy facility in Wacol. This role involves unloading heavy containers (up to 48 tonnes) and requires a confident operator with strong attention to safety. Alongside forklift operation, you will also be required to assist with general labouring and site cleaning duties to support smooth daily operations. This is a stable afternoon shift with consistent hours Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift to unload 48‑tonne containers

• Safely handling and moving materials within the yard

• Completing general labouring tasks as required

• Cleaning and maintaining site areas to ensure a safe work environment

• Working efficiently in a fast‑paced environment

• Following all site safety procedures and protocols

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence (LF)

• Experience unloading containers is essential

• Ability to operate safely around heavy loads

• Reliable and committed to afternoon shift work

• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

• Full Australian working rights
