Food Processing Warehouse – Afternoon Shift Forklift Operator

We are seeking experienced and reliable forklift operators to join a busy food processing warehouse located in the Darra/Ipswich area. This is an ongoing temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering stable weekday work and consistent hours.

Position Details

• Location: Darra / Ipswich

• Shift: Afternoon shift, 1:00pm to 9:00pm (overtime available)

• Pay Rate:$37.76 per hour (casual)

• Roster: Monday to Friday, ongoing

• Environment: Cold storage food processing facility

• Parking: Street parking available onsite

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ high‑reach forklift experience

• Current LF forklift licence

• Ability to complete pre‑employment testing prior to commencement

• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid visa with full work rights

• Experience in food processing, FMCG, or cold‑storage environments is highly regarded

• Strong reliability, punctuality, and commitment to safety

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow established procedures

About the Role

You will be working within a cold‑storage food production warehouse, supporting daily operations including stock movement, pallet stacking, loading and unloading, and general warehouse duties. Maintaining a clean and safe work area is essential. This role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
