Excavator Operator – Steel Waste Facility (Wacol)

Location: Wacol, QLD Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–4:00pm Pay Rate:$33 per hour Position Type: Temp to Perm Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join a busy steel waste recycling facility in Wacol. This is a long‑term, stable dayshift role offering consistent full‑time hours each week, with a strong temp to perm pathway for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating excavators to move, sort, and load steel waste

• Working within a fast‑paced recycling environment

• Following all site safety procedures

• Assisting with general yard duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year excavator operating experience

• Valid excavator ticket/licence

• Strong safety awareness

• Reliable and able to commit to Monday–Friday shifts

• Experience in steel waste or recycling environments (preferred)
