CG Recruitment is seeking reliable and hardworking Forklift Drivers help set up and pack down one of Australia's largest Defense Industry events taking place this October.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a large-scale exhibition, assisting with the bump-in and bump-out of the event alongside an experienced team.

Event Dates

Set Up (Bump In): Thursday 1 October – Monday 5 October

• 7:00am – 3:00pm
• 3:00pm – 10:00pm

Pack Down (Bump Out): Thursday 8 October – Saturday 10 October

• 10:00am – 9:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Overnight: 9:00pm – 7:00am

Duties will include: 

• Operating counterbalance forklifts to load, unload and distribute freight 
• Transporting large and oversized freight across the site 
• Assisting in the set-up and dismantling of exhibition stands, airshow equipment, and infrastructure
• Ensuring the safe operation of forklifts and adherence to all safety standards
• Forklift drivers will be loading and unloading a variety of ugly/awkward/ over-sized freight.

What we’re looking for:

• Forklift Licence with experience in a busy transport depot 
• Must be available all dates listed
• Must be confident in loading and unload b-double trailers.
• Eagerness to work, with proven reliability and great presentation
• Access to high-vis work attire, with black steel caps and black dress trousers
• Unrestricted working rights within Australia
