Electrician – Food Manufacturing

💰 Base Rate: $47.62 + applicable loadings

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our maintenance team at a high-volume baked goods production facility in Bells Creek.

This role supports automated production and packaging equipment and is ideal for an electrician with strong fault-finding skills and experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.

Shift Options

• Day Shift: 5:45am – 2:05pm

• Afternoon Shift: 1:45pm – 10:05pm

What We’re Looking For

• QLD Electrical Licence

• 1–3 years’ experience in a high-volume, automated food manufacturing or FMCG environment(highly preferred)

• Strong understanding of automated control systems

• Mechanically minded with hands-on maintenance capability

• Sound technical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills

• Good preventative maintenance experience

• Strong safety awareness and team focus

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance

• Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipment

• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults efficiently

• Maintain and repair motors, drives, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics

• Perform basic PLC fault-finding and sensor troubleshooting (where licensed/competent)

• Install, commission, and modify equipment in line with specifications and standards

• Complete maintenance tasks with minimal impact on production schedules

Breakdown Response & Operational Support

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production stoppages

• Work collaboratively with Production to safely restore operations

• Provide technical support during changeovers, shutdowns, and start-ups

• Support continuous operations across shift-based or 24/7 environments
