Dispatch Officer

CG Recruitment is currently looking for Dispatch Officers to join a client production team in Lidcombe. 

Full time hours - Monday to Friday - 6am-2pm

Key Responsibilities

• Correctly identify products to ensure accuracy in dispatch.
• Perform picking and packing tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Assist the transport team in locating lost or misplaced boxes.
• Ensure all dispatched goods meet company requirements including quality standards, timeframes, and correct labelling.
• Carry out strapping to secure goods before dispatch.
• Perform manual handling tasks safely following workplace health and safety procedures.
• Conduct de-cartoning of products when required.
• Weigh and label products accurately to comply with dispatch standards.
• Check that items are picked and packed correctly prior to dispatch.

Applicants must possess the following

• The ability to work with different meats  including PORK & BEEF
• The ability to work in a  cool environment 
• Must have own car and license  
• The ability to commit to a 38 hour week
• The ability to lift heavy (up to 25kg) constantly 
• Be able to undergo a pre-employment functionality and drug/alcohol test
