Forklift Supervisor – Cold Storage Warehouse

We’re looking for a confident, hands‑on Forklift Supervisor to join a busy cold storage warehouse for a well‑known dairy company. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading a team, staying organised, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment.

About the Role

You’ll supervise a team of 5+ staff, support daily warehouse operations, and help keep productivity on track. This is a mix of leadership, forklift work, and basic admin. The warehouse operates at around –2°C, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in cold conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a small warehouse team

• Run morning meetings and warm‑ups

• Operate forklifts when needed

• Monitor productivity and KPIs

• Complete daily and weekly reports

• Review staffing and workloads

• Manage picking slips and basic paperwork

• Maintain safety standards

• Support inventory and workflow improvements

About You

• 2+ years forklift experience

• Experience supervising 5+ staff

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Able to multi‑task and stay organised

• Comfortable running toolbox talks or team briefings

• Confident reporting on KPIs

• Basic admin skills (filing, reporting)

• Able to work in cold storage

• Valid LF forklift licence

• Two recent references
