Boilermaker / Oxy Cutter – Wacol

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00AM–5:00PM

Extras: Occasional Saturday work + PPE supplied

About the Role

You’ll work across a range of metal materials, performing welding, oxy cutting and assisting with the preparation and processing of large steel components. This role suits someone who enjoys physical, practical work and can operate both independently and within a close‑knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG, TIG and ARC welding — fabricating and repairing metal components

• Oxy cutting — cutting and shaping various metals

• Steel preparation — measuring, planning and cutting large sections

• Recycling workflow support — assisting with metal processing tasks

• Safety compliance — following all site procedures and maintaining safe work habits

• Housekeeping — keeping work areas clean, organised and hazard‑free

What You Need

• Welding and oxy‑cutting experience

• Clear communication

• Ability to work independently or in a team

• Reliability and punctuality

• Strong attention to detail

• Comfort working outdoors in a noisy, dusty yard

• Positive, can‑do attitude

Position Details

• Permanent full‑time role

• Based in Wacol

• Monday to Friday, 6AM–5PM

• Occasional Saturday work

• PPE provided
