Event FOH / Barista

• Wednesday 25 March – Saturday 28 March
• Specialty Coffee / Event Activation

We’re currently seeking two experienced baristas to join our event team for an exciting specialty coffee activation in Melbourne.

This role will see you working front-of-house supporting roasters and ensuring the smooth operation of multiple coffee stations throughout the event.

Key Dates & Availability

• Event dates: Wednesday 25 March to Saturday 28 March
  You must be available for all event dates

• Mandatory training: 4 hour paid training session scheduled in February  

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and manage multiple coffee stations within the activation
• Assist roasters with any machine or equipment questions/issues
• Confidently operate commercial coffee machines and grinders
• Empty wastewater buckets and maintain station cleanliness
• Restock milk fridges and consumables as required
• Assist with clean down and pack down during midday roaster changeovers
• Deliver excellent FOH customer service throughout the event

What We’re Looking For

• Proven barista experience(specialty coffee highly regarded)
• Confident and competent using commercial coffee machines and grinders
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced event environment
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with roasters and event staff
• Availability to attend mandatory training in February
