Job Title: Quality Assurance Team Leader - Meat Processing Factory

Location: Cleveland, QLD

Salary: $75k per year 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays

Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Are you a dedicated Quality Assurance professional with experience in the food industry? Our established meat processing factory in Cleveland, QLD is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Team Leader. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the high standards of our meat processing operations and ensuring compliance with quality control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the quality assurance team in the meat processing factory
• Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures specific to meat processing
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold product quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with production and other departments to address quality-related issues
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on quality assurance best practices
• Analyze data and metrics to drive continuous improvement in quality processes

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry, preferably in meat processing
• Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards
• Certification in food safety or quality assurance is an asset
