Our client is a specialist in their field of high end fit-out/installation projects across Australia.  Some would say they are a leader in their field with a reputation second to none,  Trusted by over 50 of the world's leading luxury brands!  As they expand their team and take on more challenging projects they are seeking an experienced hands-on Project Manager with a trade background, that is not only energetic and hungry for the result, but also Trade orientated and willing to get their hands dirty.  

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager you will project manage their Fitouts 'end to end'. These are bespoke, high-end, luxury Fit-outs and requires someone with an excellent eye for detail and ability to pull all aspects of the project together.  Your role will include liaising with the client, estimating, engaging suppliers, scheduling and ensuring you are on time and on budget as well as periodic site visits.  This will require someone that has the ability to travel as and when required.  

About you

• Gold Coast based but flexibility to travel to sites in most of the major cities when required
• Personality!  Energetic! and Willing to put in the hard yards to get the project completed in time
• Excellent attention to detail and an EYE for detail - these are high end luxury installations so you have to be able to be on-point
• Excellent troubleshooter
• All about relationships and building rapport with your team, suppliers and clients alike!
• Committed, reliable and punctual
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Strive for achievement and performance

What you need to bring to the table: 

• Must be an experienced Project Manager within Luxury Fitouts and installations
• Trade background
• Experienced working with budgets and tight timelines
• Manage all aspects of estimating & project management on multiple projects
• Accuracy is your middle name and Organised your first! 
• Ability to deal with people from all walks of life....
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Thrive in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy in MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
• Experience reading and facilitating architectural drawings
